About
Balm & Banner is a Christian apparel brand out of Gastonia, North Carolina, founded by a former Army combat medic. The name comes from two places in Scripture: the balm of Gilead (Jeremiah 8:22) and Jehovah‑Nissi, "The LORD is my Banner" (Exodus 17:15). Healing and standard-bearing. That was the job then; it is the mission now.
Every shirt is pressed by hand, one at a time, here in Gaston County. The designs carry the Word, not our logo. You will never find our brand name printed on a garment.
Balm & Banner is a trade name of Benjamin Thomas LLC, a North Carolina company that also operates in vermiculture and worm castings (Squiggly Wiggly), general retail resale (Ben's Variety Store), and small-business consulting and AI services (Ben's AI Biz). This website and its checkout serve the goods and services of Benjamin Thomas LLC, with Balm & Banner apparel as the storefront brand.
Shirts
Current line: single-color designs, heat-pressed on quality cotton blanks. Tees typically run $18–$22. Long-sleeves and a hoodie drop are planned for fall 2026.
Ordering
We currently sell locally in the Gastonia / Gaston County, NC area through Facebook Marketplace and direct contact, with cash or card payment at pickup or delivery. Online ordering with shipping is coming; until then, reach out through any contact method below and we will arrange your order directly.
